Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, in the delightful village of Willersey and just two miles from the popular destination of Broadway, Yew Tree Cottage wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale with its glorious Cotswold stone exterior and blossom framing the rustic wooden door.

Inside, an open fireplace is the heartbeat of this home, creating the cosiest of living rooms whatever the time of year, and the perfect amphitheatre for retelling stories of great days out, family fun and epic walks.

Juxtaposed with Yew Tree Cottage’s authentic, rustic charm, the cottage boasts modern amenities, with a kitchen that has everything you need close at hand, while guests can take their tea and toast in the dining room or, should the weather be amenable, venture into the garden, dappled in the Cotswold sunshine.

The master bedroom overlooks the front garden, and the tasteful decor creates a feeling of serenity. The family room, sleeping three, has a peony-inspired interior and splashes of cerise. Lastly, the whites and blues of the twin room gives a nod to the nautical, while enjoying a charming view of the rear garden.

From the front door, you can walk out straight into the Cotswold countryside, beginning with the beautiful village of Willersey. Just past the pond, you’ll find Willersey Stores, selling a good choice of fresh, seasonal produce including freshly-baked bread. Or treat yourself to an all-day breakfast, ready for you whatever time you surface. The adjacent Village Café will happily provide you with pastries, pies and cheeses if you’re packing a picnic, and you can hire an electric bike from the store, complete with helmets, route maps and locks.

The Bell Inn, a traditional Cotswold pub serving home-cooked food and real English ale, sits a short walk from Yew Tree Cottage. Or, just two miles from Yew Tree Cottage, is Broadway High Street, famous for its array of boutique shops and exquisite eateries. Slightly further afield are the towns of Stow-on-the-Wold (16 minutes), Stratford-upon-Avon (23 minutes), Chipping Norton (28 minutes) and Cheltenham (33 minutes).
