Yew Tree Cottage – Main Street, Willersey, Broadway, Gloucestershire, WR12 7PJ
With blossom framing the rustic wooden door, Yew Tree Cottage wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale. Sleeping seven, there’s enough room for the whole family and a few friends… furry ones too. Guests are welcome to bring their dog along to enjoy the sprawling countryside.
With an open fireplace in the cosy living room, in winter months, guests can swap stories over a roaring fire, adding locally sourced logs as the embers dwindle. We’ve also provided hot water bottles to keep you cosy when you reluctantly concur it’s time to stumble upstairs on tired legs.
Don’t let the rustic charm of the cottage bely the modern amenities; the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast. Guests can take their tea and toast in the dining room, or should the weather feel amenable, venture into the garden, dappled in the morning sun
The master bedroom overlooks the front garden, and the tasteful decor creates a feeling of serenity. The family room, sleeping three, has a peony-inspired interior and splashes of cerise. Lastly, the whites and blues of the twin room gives a nod to the nautical, while enjoying a charming view of the rear garden.
Lovely cottage with all you need for a marvelous, peaceful break. Very friendly area and Teddy the dog enjoyed his walks in the area.
A must is the Stag Head! Treat yourself to a wonderful evening of extremely good food and hospitality.
Would definitely stay again. The only downside is the time goes too quickly 🙁
We have had a lovely few days here. The cottage is beautiful, the location is amazing! Lovely neighbours on both sides (& beautiful pooches too).
Great pub!!
We had a lovely relaxing week here. We thought the cottage was really attractive and comfortable and loved sitting in the garden in the late afternoon sun/ It’s a great location for visiting local national trust properties – Itidcote was delightful and Stratford. Sunday lunch in the local pub was good too – an all-round enjoyable break.
Mark and I, plus Summer Bear (Our newbie) loved it here this weekend, absolutely gorgeous décor and lovely neighbours. All the locals were friendly.
Well what a fabulous stay we’ve had! A truly beautiful cottage. Many, many thanks!
What a beautiful cottage – the attention to detail is fantastic, great comfort, beautiful décor and style! We so much enjoyed our stay – thank you!!
What a beautiful hideaway here in the Cotswolds. We really enjoyed our 3 day escape from the busyness of the city. The cottage felt so homely and warm, especially after a glass of prosecco and a game of scrabble.
We’ll be back again.
This is a beautiful, cosy and welcoming cottage in the most peaceful of settings.
A torch is most certainly needed if you are venturing out on foot at night, but a visit to ‘The Stag’ in the village is well worth it – yet another warm welcome and very good food!
A wonderful weekend.
30th Dec – 2nd Jan
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the owners & housekeepers for this wonderful little magical cottage! The decor and cosiness is extremely high quality & the extra touches (Tea/Coffee/Body Wash etc) really show you go the extra mile to make people feel welcome. We stayed over the new year and the Christmas tree made it extra magical!
We had a lovely time with lovely walks with our dog and we will definitely be returning!!
Thank you again
Had a great time both times we’ve stayed there, beautiful location, cottage in excellent condition and well kept by the owners. It’s so good we’re considering coming back again a third time!
The cottage was exactly as described, It was very useful having two bathrooms so we could all get ready in the mornings. It was perfect for a multi generational trip, We had comfortable rooms for us our two sons, daughter in law and grand-daughter. It was handy to be able to park 2 of our three cars on the drive as we had travelled from three separate directions for our week-end get together. I would definitely do it again.
Had a lovely family break for the mother in laws 60th. Nice peaceful village with a great restaurant across the road
